WHERE AM I HEADING?
The Alcester 10K takes runners on a fantastic single-lap route through the historic town of Alcester and the beautiful Warwickshire countryside.
Starting in Alcester, runners head out of the town and into the surrounding countryside towards Great Alne. The route then winds through picturesque rural lanes, passing through Walcote before beginning the return journey towards Alcester.
The second half of the course offers long stretches of open countryside before bringing runners back into Alcester for the all-important finish line.
With a great combination of town-centre atmosphere, quiet country roads and scenic rural views, the Alcester 10K is an enjoyable course for runners of all abilities — whether you’re chasing a personal best or simply looking to enjoy a brilliant 10K race.

Can I enter on the day?
No entries must be made in advance and the event typically sells out early.
Can I get a refund or transfer my entry?
Refunds aren’t offered. In some cases, entries may be transferable to other Raceways events if you notify organisers before race day.
Is there a kids’ race?
Yes – there’s a free 1 km Kids’ Fun Run, starting after the adults finish. Every child gets a free medal.
What time does the race start?
The starting gun goes off at 10:00 am on race day.
How long is the course?
The race is a single 10 km loop through Warwickshire’s countryside
